cracking

I have a Tascam Porta Two.

I'm recording through my bluebird blue condenser microphone connected to my M-Audio M-Track Interface that is then obviously connected to my laptop through USB. I find that when I listen to the mic through the direct option the sound is crystal clear, but when I switch to the USB there is a consistent crackling noise.

I have my tracks already recorded and am doing the touch ups.

I'm working in Logic Pro 8.



There are around 5 small glitchy cracks that occur throughout the song. Im sure its common enough. Could you please tell me how in this program I can remove them. Perhaps there are multiple different ways.

I'm using a maya1010 sound card, and during play back ill hear poping and craclking. if i change the latency it'll help for a little bit but then after awhile the poping and craking will return. any suggesstions to get rid of this?

I'm glad we agree on this discussion about cracked software. I would not have argued if I knew about your section's policy. I'm don't visit this section of RO very often, otherwise I would not have gotten started and wasted everybody's time.
