Wow, I just heard the Millennia M-2b is discontinued for good, no more made. If I won the lottery I would have 24 channels of those and call it completed. They are simply outstanding. I feel blessed to have at least 2 channels. I guess I have what will go down as one of the worlds most amazing preamps. The M-2b are now Vintage.
I was just looking around for some specs comparing the Tascam stuff versus the 01x again and I noticed that the 01x is not on the Yamaha site anymore.
Is it really discontinued or am I seeing this wrong? Is this old news? Anyone know?

i just bought a 6b lunchbox for $400 + shipping,brand new, but i've seen people selling,on ebay, the 4b version for over $800.
what's the difference? i mean, pardon my ignorance, but isn't 6 more than 4?
or is the power supply better?
This board didn't get a lot of exposure in the industry to start off with, I guess due to the success of the VS series of digital studio workstations.
The price drop on this board for the mixer and processor dropped from around $6,000 to $2,500 (give or take a couple of hundred). And the VMC 7100, which has less i/o, dropped down to $1,600.
