I just got an opportunity to buy an ENSONIQ DP4 but I'm not so sure about it. I know it was a great device in the past but is it still a good way to go or is it an obsolete piece of museum ? Any recomendations you have I'll be deeply thankful.
I got the Control 16 from a friend, and I would really like to check it out, I hear it remains one of the best sounding options for home use...what else do I need...t? there is software, a PCI card and an interface, right?

OK, here's the deal. I have an oppertunity to pick up an ensoniq c16 control surface for a good deal, the question is, I have an digi 001 at home, I was just wondering if any of you knew if this surface was compatible with Pro Tools?

I have an Ensoniq ASR-10 sampler and I want to upload sample sounds from the ASR-10 library CD-ROMs. I haven't any external SCSI CD-ROM reader, and like I needed an external SCSI CD-RW I bought HP 9600se (I know it isn't a GOOD CD-RW, but... It reads and records anything, the problem is the SCSI commands) praying it will work with ASR-10 too.
