I'm not sure i love my Eclipse

I spent this years audio budget on an eventide eclipse. I'm not saying that it's not cool. It's got 400 unique effects presets. But I was mainly hoping it would be my go-to reverb. I didn't think i was that picky about reverbs, and that one solid reverb unit would meet 75-80% of my needs. Anyways, so far I don't think it does that at all.

Eclipse 3.0 or PCM 91 or Reverb 4000?

I've been slowing upgrading my project studio for the past 10 years or so. Because I record my own solo material, I decided to spend my money on studio pieces that I can use for as long as I live. So, I'm buying higher end rack stuff to round out my Pro-Tools LE system.

Now'm ready to add to my recording rig. Here's a rundown of what I have.

Hello,

Considering purchasing an Eventide effects unit.

Especially considering use for vocals--vocal quality, flexibility--but will use for other instruments as well. Looking for quality sounds, flexibility. And value, of course, always matters somewhat.

I've read that this unit has 5 times the processing power than that of the H3000. I like Eventide products even though I don't own one. I could use my anual bonus to purchase an Eclipse. I'm curious to find out if anyone has used this unit or currently owns one. Is this a unit worth looking at?
