I'm using digital performer for a project. i've got a combination of MIDI tracks and recorded soundbites in the file. the MIDI stuff is going through a Kurzweil keyboard and the soundbites are being played back through a DigiDesign MBox. both of these are hooked up to a mixing board, so i can monitor both at the same time.
I have a very interesting and perplexing mix issue that I'm hoping one the seen-it-all engineers here can offer a little insight towards.
Anyone have success in exporting a mastering session to seperate wav files directly ready for recording to CD. It seems to me, either you burn the CD in wavelabs (which doesn't recognize my dvd/CD burner), or you export the project as one giant wave file...
am I missing something?
What are the pros and cons of exporting music in software? I think it's a good idea to send to a external recorder but I am in the process of acquiring the funds to get a masterlink. any info?
Hi, all. I've been experiencing problems exporting wav's from my Sonar projects.
I notice a loss of Vocal volume & Bass is muttled after exporting multitrack to stereo using sonar2.
The sound of the tracks are perfect in the room, but when the tracks are exported to stereosome key vocal & bass quality is lost.
Looks like iZ has shipped the ability to export time stamped wavs. Cooool !

As 3.1 approaches Beta any day now I just thought I'd remind everyone about RADAR 24's new ability to export BWF (Broadacst .wav format) to DVD-RAM and Mac or FAT 32 formatted SCSI drives.
Hi,
I've been using Logic Platinum lately, having switched from Cubase and Deck II. I've made good progress so far with everything except one.
How can I export a sound file? There seems to be no obvious way of generating an .aif or .wav file, or am I missing the obvious here?
