Hello! I have an impact noise attenuation question.

I'm on the 7th and top floor in an office building and the professional advice is I need a box in a box with around 100mm concrete for the suspended floor with a 100mm air gap. Proper engineered and calculated rubber blocks and the correct type and amount of insulation in the gap.

I'm making building plans for a box in box studio.

What does 32-bit, floating point internal processing mean to us?

A data encoding process that allows the representation of very large numbers with fewer bits. Used in computers that have floating point registers, and where complex graphics, scientific or audio processes need to be executed rapidly.

Does anyone know when Logic Pro will start support 32 bit floating point format ?

I know Cubase, nuendo, wavelab do .

Have a question about floating point.

Right now I use 2 O2/R's in cascade.

They are allright but they're are a few limitations

( and this also goes for the later models like the DM 2000 ).

The biggest limitation of all is headroom and dynamic range on the

Mix bus.

It seems that the other thread was shut down right as I joined. I didn't read the whole thing, but after seven pages I suppose it makes sense that the perception was that it wasn't going anywhere.

With another thread brought up regarding the sh*tty sound in pro-tools...I was left thinking today as I sat at a contol-24 - Playing with the 7k mouse, I started to dwell upon the premise of that the only sound of pro-tools (other that converters and plugs)is the summing math of the software.
