Mixing/Recording in a Gym, Fighting Poor Acoustic Treatment
Hello,
I'm looking for some help/validation with a few sound issues we've been having in our church.
Hello,
I'm looking for some help/validation with a few sound issues we've been having in our church.
Hi,
They've just completed the first stage of a major renovation at the high school I work at. They installed quite a nice PA system in the new gym (I don't want to discuss what hasn't happened in the fine arts right now!) but I'm having an issue and wonder if anyone can help.
I'm running sound for a band in a gym the 20th of December. The band consists of a trap set, 1 bass and 1 guitar player and two vocalists. This is no high-budget show or anything like that, so I can't bring in sound deadening or anything fun like that.
Hello,
I have a setup to do this week in a lare gym with high ceilings.
Question is: What do you guys suggest in avoiding echo? There is not stage at this gym.
I have JBL EON G2 speakers.
Do you suggest position on any specific angles?
Thanks for your advice and help.
