I downloaded, installed and licensed MixBus 3 yesterday ( I believe it's actually vrs 3.6).

At $39 it was kind of a no-brainer, and it gives me another DAW platform to work with. I like the GUI; which resembles a Harrison desk. I also like the sound of their audio engine, which is distinctly analog-sounding.

@Kurt Foster, (and/or anyone else who has spent some time on the newest ( or newer) versions of Harrison's MixBus DAW platform)...

Kurt...

about a year and a half ago, you and I were discussing the newest Harrison Mixbus version that was out at the time, I'm fairly certain it was vers. 3.0 (?)

I purchased this program last year, and I really enjoyed mixing with it.

I wouldn't recommend it for full-scale production - being that MixBus has no midi function at all - you are best to use your current DAW to record if your project includes midi or soft synths.
