As my field of work is location recording, the lighter the equipment the better.
So I'm looking into available ways to use a smartphone using Android as an at least 2-channel recorder.
Forget about the phone mic input. Even if it can be used on certain circumstances, it's quality is very poor.
here's whats going on. I'm getting a bit of radio interference in my recordings. i have a studio in my basement. brand new everything, decent mics, ok cables, run into a snake then into a Behringer eurodesk mixer, to a m-audio 1814 FW to my computer. My guess is it might be my mic cables, but i don't want to go dump hundreds of dollars on top of the line cables if it won't fix my problem.
i just got a creative audigy 2 zs with the deck and I'm trying to record using acid pro 5. my problem is whenever i record a second track, the first track is played into it. I'm trying to get the second layer track to record while the first track plays into my head phones and not into the recording . I'm pretty sure the the connections are right and that its software but how would i fix this?
Wow, I just bought a lovely SansAmp bass driver. Beautiful tone. I turn up the tone on the bass and driver to get that lovely high-endtwang I want from my bass.
