Hi, I'm interested in buying some JBL speakers but the seller has said that the crossovers have been changed from the original JLB 4206 ones to JBL 4208 crossovers. He said that the speakers sound fine.
Has anyone ever found a suitable solution to the obnoxious sticky rubberized coating that JBL put on the front of their LSR series monitors?
for years i've used three JBL 4412 speakers across the front and two JBL 4410's for surround. i've always been very happy with this setup. now, however, i'm in a slightly smaller space and can't position the 4410's correctly for surround. there just isn't enough wall space for a proper mounting. i need something a bit smaller.

I am looking for good price and good quality studio monitors for mixing, recording, composing.
I found kind of interedting and cheap stuff.
So, it's JBL LSR305 and KRK Rokit 5 G3.
I heard a lot of good words about KRK monitors, but I was kind of disappointed. The sound quality was much better on JBL monitors.
I was thinking about picking up a set of these primarily to use as 'listening' speakers but I wanted to get some thoughts on how they would work as monitors?
Has anyone had any experience with this device? Im not worried about the speaker selecting side, more the room correction part. My room is fairly well treated, but I can always use help controlling low end modes.
I notice JBL recommend using a sub too, I would have thought thT would just add to any low end issues you might have?

I'm in the market for new monitors. I'm not in a situation where I can easily go to a store and A/B pairs, so I've done the standard "read every last review and message board on earth" routine and landed on the JBL LSR4326P's. I land here for three reasons:
Has anyone used this monitors. I wasn't able to find much information for these but I found them in a very good price. I used to mix on NS10 a lot. I'm mounting a small mixing/tracking room at home to do some of my ork and lo budget productions. Do you think this may ork?
I do mostly acoustical/jazz/fusion. Sometimes pop/rock too.
Do you think this will serve for a start.
