Monitors JBL LSR 6328P
Hello
There are 2 Versions of the LSR 6328P Active-Monitor.
Newer ones with handholes on the side and older ones without any handholes.
Does anybody know if there is a difference in sound ?
Thanks.

JBL 4312 and a Newbie
I have a pair of JBL 4312 monitors. Now, when I hear the term "near field" I assume you sit up close to them and generally think "smaller speakers". My JBL's are friggin huge to me and I have no clue at what range I am supposed to be sitting in respect to them. Near? Far? Who can tell. .

If I run my JBL MR Series at 4ohms will it harm them?
I have started buying used JBL Sound Reinforcement such as MR Series and even some old school Cabaret Series. I've been taking the Cabarets apart and totally restoring them inside and out.
JBL
I just got a pair of JBL S26 studio monitors. Are these monitors good? They costed $400 pair and they are passive.

Monitors : Genelec 8050 vs. . JBL LSR 28P
Hello
Anybody can tell something about those two systems ?
Bob Katz wrote in his book, the JBL LSR are very good and linear.
A friend told me the Genelecs are the best.
Thank you for answers.
Walter

JBL EONS as studio monitors? Vhat do you tink?
At one point in my life I was using some Event TR6s as near field monitors. Turns out they are built so badly that the main board inside burnt out. So now I have no monitors, but I don't care, b/c I was never good at mixing with those things anyway.
JBL JRX125 mod
ok, tell me how feasable this sounds. My friend is putting together a Dj rig.
Could he get two of these, pull the bottom woofer off the x-over and amp the bottom and tops seperately using an outboard 2-way xover and a pair of RMX 2450s?

JBL S38II Studio Monitors
I've have a set of JBL S38II Studio Monitors, how well do these work for mixing monitors? I'm new to home recording, I bought the JBLs awhile back for my home stereo, thinking I might also make use of them for home recording. They are suppose to have a flat response, they do sound great with my stereo.

Amplifier for JBL 4312 Monitors
Davedog you mentioned that you were quite familiar with these monitors and that they need a good linear amplifier to achieve maximum performance. Could you, or anyone else here, recommend a few of amplifiers from differenct price ranges that would do the job. I am not really familiar with the intricacies of amplifiers and have no idea what a decent amp costs.
