I'm planning on buying a Roland VS-1824CD but I first need to know how well this machine works with sampled loops. Does anyone know if it works similar to Acid or more specifically, can you cut and paste the loop and have the ability to change the bpm without changing the pitch? Or are you aware of any digital recorder that works like this? Thanks.

prior to owning my mac I used to use acid to mess around with audio recording. I know that acid had the ability to stretch out a loop and adjust the audio properties to match the bpm of the project I was working on. Does PT have a feature like this? I am wanting to slow down a loop I have and was wondering if I could do it in PT or not.

thanks,
ben

Okay so I am using Pro Tools - just starting to use drum loops - I have 3 collections from beta monkey which aren't too bad at all. I have the tempo set in Pro Tools to match the bpm of the loops I am using. I also set up an aux and use the built in click with Pro Tools. I usually drag in the audio from the workspace and then select and repeat it.

anyone familiar with sequencing the sounds from proteus-x onto fruity loop tracks. so far, i've managed to open the vst sound module for proteus-x in fruity loops. I'm using a midi controller to play each note. how do I record multiple proteus-x tracks similar to the way I would if I was playing and recording fruity loop tracks and sounds?

Pops between loops in recorded guitar

Hi people,

Thats the way i record guitar:

Or i put in line or Micing in amp, no matter, but its played in some takes.

I choose the best take and cut in a loop.

When i duplicate the loops, appears an little "pop or glitch" between them. How can i remove it?

Should i have to cut the audio file in exact frequency wave?
