I've just invested in a RODE M3 mic to do some outside acoustic recording job tomorrow with a little band. I apparently have two choices - either high or low pass filters which have different effects in different scenarios!
I need to isolate lows, mediums and highs of an audio file, each on a separate track.
(It is intentional to separate these bands from the source)
My filter has the following parameters : Bandwidth, center frequency.
Been trying some settings but it's just an approximate since I don't really know the subject ...
Low Pass Filter (LPF)
A filter that attenuates frequencies above a certain cutoff point, while passing on frequencies below the cutoff unaffected. Sometimes referred to as high-cut filter.
