Jeanne Jolly - Sony C800g vs. Peluso VTB Microphone Shootout
Man, I never get tired of hearing Jeanne Jolly sing this. The last half of this video is wonderful.

I know several of you own (or at least have tried) http://www.pelusomi… Peluso mics.
I am adding another quality tube mike to my collection and was wondering if anyone out there has any experience in comparing these two mikes. I already own a Lawson 47 mp and love it. What I'm looking for is a nice mate for my Lawson that has a different tonality but close to the same quality. I guess the reason for my question is a matter of economics.
Hi Guys.
I’m a music producer based in Johannesburg South Africa. I work a lot with a young female singer that sounds a bit like Avril Lavigne and a bit like Kelly Clarkson. I’d like to buy two mics that would suit her voice and style (Pop rock), but naturally get more bang for my buck too.
hi all, i'm in the market for a pair of small diapragm mics, i'm wondering if anyone has advice regarding RODE NT5 vs Peluso CEMC6. This will be my first pair of SDC's, so they need to be pretty versatile. Mainly acoustic guitar and drum overheads/room.
Are any of you experience with either the AKG C 391 B setup, or the Peluso CEMC6 mic? How would you say they compare?
One of my favorite recording drummers uses the AKG C 391 B setup for his hi-hats, and I am in the market for a mic I can use both on hats and acoustic guitars.
If anyone has used the Peluso CEMC6 to tape live concerts (not piano recitals), I'd be very interested in hearing your opinions. I'm really interested in figuring out the difference between the card cap and the wide card cap? The set I'm thinking of buying allows me to choose any 3 caps of 4 offered (card, wide card, hypercard and omni).
Thanks.
So I bought the elam251 clone. Used it with a female singer. She liked it. I liked it. As I at a couple of pattern-steps towards omni from cardiod, her chest opened up, and all this huskyness came out and it was beautiful.
How would you guys describe the sound of these two mics?
Are they truly awesome or are they semi-pro mics?
I'm thinking of buying 1 each for some variation on overheads
and acoustic guitar..
Thanks.
Hi everyone,
I have finally had a chance to try out the Peluso 22 47 microphone, so rather than try to explain how it sounds, here is a Jim Croce song I recorded in my living room this evening.
The signal chain is: (Vocals 2247)(Guitar AT4033)--->Avalon AD2022 preamp--->E-MU 1212m sound card
