Realtime Remote Recording Free version,
this whole thing looks cool can't wait to read all about it, think it's the future, and the missing piece to the new rig!

how did I miss this. Poking around the recent aes vids, this popped up! Man oh man! This is exactly what I had in mind, for my new setup/services/business model. Looks like someone did the heavy lifting! Wanted to avoid the Avid collab, so I can use multiple daws. No Samplitude support, or at least it's not listed. Shouldn't be long! RO jam anyone?
hello forum. i have the following problem, and although it's not related to recordings directly, you might be the best to help me...
in my car, i use speech recognition to control my pc. the speech understands me pretty well, but there is some noise, both from the cabin, and from my sound system...
Ok, I'm not sure where to exactly post this but I figured this is a great site to ask the question.
I just got a link to this from Ohm Force. I wonder if it will really work like it says on the package?

Anyone know how to record virtual instruments (like Sylenth) in real time using Nuendo? I've always recorded the MIDI track then exported the track, then imported it back onto an audio track. That's slow and tedious.
I'd post this in the Nuendo forum but their new site is useless. Doesn't work.
Real Time AudioSuite. Based on Digidesign’s AudioSuite plugin architecture that uses off-line processing, RTAS acts exactly like a TDM plugin , but instead of using Digidesign DSP, uses the host computers processing capability.
Used to describe an audio or video process that can be carried while the source material is playing or being recorded. Non linear editing is therefore an off-line process.
I am currently running SOnar on my PC (HP w/ XP), and I am wondering if I can use it for live shows by running my guitar and keyboards into my comp and using the effects and such on Sonar. I haven't been able to find a way to do this so far, and I don't see much about the topic. Thanks
okay so I have my inputs and outputs as FCA202 on my mac audio settings, and my garage band audio settings. I open up garage band and I add new track as a real instrument, because I will be recording with my microphone. Then I add another track with the music instrumental I want.
