Very sad to read that Roger Nichols has passed away. He was inventive both in the studio and in his commercial ventures, and was single-handedly responsible for the excellence of the Steely Dan recordings. The Wendel Sampling Computer was one of his creations from 1978 aimed at improving the regularity of drumming.

Today Johnny Cash went to be with his wife June Carter-Cash who passed away last May.
