Monitoring Delay Cubase 10 Pro (Live Sound) Sucky Components. HELP!
So I use Cubase 10 pro to livestream our churches services. So the way I have it set up is the board we use (si expression 3) sends signal through usb to Cubase 10 on my laptop.

Hi!
Here is a link to a free Pro Tools tutorial about how to use beat detective to lock a performance to the grid while preserving its initial groove and feel:
Enjoy!
For anyone itching to upgrade, I implore you not to. I want to downgrade because of how awful the new fade system is in PT10. It has completely slowed down my workflow. Whenever you crossfade something you get a doubling effect. Its ridiculous. I can't figure out a way to get around it either. PT9 crossfades were beautiful and effortless. It practically did the work for you.
Hey y'all
I'm new here, hope i'm posting in the right place.
I have a rare opportunity - a month and a half with pay but no work, and gotta stay at home because we have a newborn kid. I want to build a studio in my garage, which is relatively big with a hard tile floor as in the pic below:
Ive had so many problems with this thing I dont remember how long its been since I could depend on it. These are pertaining to the Mic Input...Instr Input seems to work fine.
I just replaced all tubes except the "pencil tube" and the problems persist. they are:
It was once mentioned to me that if you can't say anything nice don't say any thing at all, so I punched him in the face and said I was sorry.
Recently the AKG-D112 has been brought up in the forums, a general consensus is it sucks. And it gets compared to other mics as "not as good as. " . thanks for clarifying that for me.
I've been diddling with this for a while now, and as far as I can tell, there are only 12 notes. The C is ALWAYS low, and the B is ALWAYS hi.
If you want to go from a C to a B, or vise versa, it jumps or dives an octave and sounds REEEAAAAALLY retarded. No low B like a real 5 string, and no going up the neck.
Out of business for a few days until a replacement arrives and I can get back at it. At least its just a ghost process away and I don't have to rebuild from scratch.
I'm thinking about nailing some pallets together or something to make a platform so I can record my drums here from now on:

I've been whinging on for a few years about not having the right equipment to make great sounding tracks.
I've now upgraded my gear and really got to grips with how it works. I've spent hours everyday reading and practicing techniques.
Only one problem has now become apparent...
MY SONGS SUCKASS!
