Hey guys, I really need to order some new headphones... for a while I had the Sennheiser HD202. They were my desktop computer headphones. I used them for tracking, mixing, and general listening to music/games on the computer.
What it says.
I own (2) EX-29s (broken), (1) HD-280 (bad cable), (2) MDR-7506 (one has busted ear pad), and (1) K-240s (my personal headphones).
So this discussion is for cans under $100, preferably $25-$50.
So I wanna get headphones to monitor my recording.
I want it to be under $50.00
I know it'll be hard to find really food headphones for that low of a price; but I just want decent ones.
Whats up Im looking for a pair of good head phones that will keep out the noise while doing vocals, but are there any out there that are cheaper then those $100 -$200 head phones?
I'm wanting to put together a PC based portable project studio to record demos for bands on location (where they rehearse,live shows,etc.). Here's the gear I'm looking at. I'd like to know if anyone thinks I'd be making a mistake with any of these items! Thanks!

I'm looking for a pair of desent headphones no more then $100 australian. i want closed dj/monitering headphones for computer use. any suggestions would be great. i was thinking of getting the SONY MDR-V150 headphones. dont hold back on comments good or bad. thanks
I use the Sony MDR7506 headphones when tracking. The 7506's have been the mainstay in my studio for some time now. I'm starting to think otherwise about the overall performance of these things. Not saying they're not good phones but are they better than anything else on the market. I see some opt for a pair of AKGs or Sennheisers. Are there anyother good brands that I don't know about?
Ok Fats had a good one with the worst purchase decisions...Mine was probably the first PC I bought from a Comp USA like 10 years ago...I told the sales guy I wanted to do digital audio...he pointed me to a PI 286
