Songwriting Guitar Vol. 1 is a sample tool made for songwriters, composers and producers that needs instant- and authentic guitar strums and licks. We analyzed a variety of top 40 rock- and pop songs and identified the most common chords and chord progressions (primarily major/sus based).

Anyone here have any idea if there is a software (Windows7 based system) to take midi data for a song, add markers or something, then be able to export the regions as separate midi files (midi format 0)? I have a bunch of songs that I would like to build some drum loop archives for practice and/or using as starter beats when writing.

Working on a rap album...I recorded my vocals the other day and everything sounds pretty good. My engineer suggests I get the song mixed and mastered.

My question is: What will mixing and mastering do to the sound of my vocals (i'm curious if this is going to make my voice sound even better? Also, how will the overall song be affected?

Hello, I'm almost finished with a song with all Wavesrecorded and everything arranged. Now problem is I'm now realizing the song is slightly too fast, mayb 1 or 2 bpms. when trying to change tempo in project, midi syncs to tempo but not audio, i know theres time stretching but won't that alter the sound/pitch ?

what to do?

Logic Piano Roll question - How to have 2 different tempos in the same song?

Hey guys, I'm sequencing drums on Logic's Piano Roll...

One of my songs is divided in 2 different tempos. when it gets to the chorus, it changes to triplets, in a different tempo. I browsed this forum, took a look on my owner's manual, but still can't find an answer.

So, how to make these tempo changes, and how to have triplets?
