Man, I never get tired of hearing Jeanne Jolly sing this. The last half of this video is wonderful.

Hi. I'm thinking of buying a new microphone to record rappers. I have a Great River ME-1NV preamp and a Distressor. I want a C800G because I've heard that microphone and like its clarity. I can't really afford the price tag so do you know any other microphones that have similar character?

Anybody have any experience about this mic?

I've read quite a lot of good comments about it.

It is very expensive though...

Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this mic. I primarily record female Pop vocals and was wondering if this mic could stand up to mics like a Soundelux 251, U99, or other higher end mics. Thanks in advance.
