Hello everybody

Let`s start in the first part just with technical facts:

You get 16 buses with a SSHDR 1 (I think you get 32 with the Red but that makes no difference) and 4 analog/digital outs and 2 ins plus 1 TDIF (for the Red you got 3 TDIFs).

The SSHDR 1 can do 12 tracks, the regular Red 32 tracks and the Red24, guess what, 24 right.

First and foremost. The quality of the source material is paramount!

Granted there are some tricks & technics you can use to improve something, do not ever start a session thinking you can fix it later! This is a big mistake, way to many engineers do ( Not just, new engineers suffer from this, old timers as well, Due to laziness)

I have been debating/ holding off on buying Pro Tools because of all the hipe about soundscape and now I hear about nuendo.

I feel that the DAW's are the way to go.

What is soundscape all about. Pro Tools seems to be the industry standard and isn't this a very important dission maker?
