I have a pair of M-Audio Studiophile BX8 monitors (NOT BX8a) that the Tweeters don't work no more. I talk to the parts service of M-Audio and they don't have that part availeble anymore. They send me a list of there oficial service centers to see if by any chance you still got that part in your stock but they dont. So now I have to find a replacement for it.
Hi, I'm in need of 1 tweeter for a tanoy reveal 6P but I can't seem to find one. My 4 year old stuck his finger through it so it's minus treble on 1 monitor.
I know they are not great monitors and I also know it may be false economy but I can't afford shiny new monitors so a cheap fix is the only choice I have.

So, I just got some M-Audio DX4's... And I just so happened to accidentally to push on tweeter trying not to... Ironic.

Does pure titanium dome tweeters sound the same as titanium-laminated dome tweeters? I always woundered about this. If they sound different which tweeters sounds more clear and precise?
hey guys, while reading my audio technology magazine, i happened across an ad for new studio monitors by samson that have ribbon tweeters, and are in the sub $500 price range.
Are there any simple definite test I can do for a blown tweeter? I THINK I may have blown one but Im really not sure and dont know how to test...thanks
