i'm new to this forum. wondering if anyone could give me some advice. just bought a TC fireworx and would like to know what the optimal way of connecting it into my present setup might be.
i have a MOTU 828 MK 2 ( analog and digital ins/outs) runing into a G4 1.25 and using Digital Performer 4.1. i have no external mixing board.
wondering if someone can comment on the reverbs and the compressors of this unit as well as the overall useability. .I was looking at getting a TC M2000 but am seriously thinking of spending the extra dough and selling possibly my Ensoniq Dp4+ and possibly either my Joemeek Sc 2.2 or Vc1q depending on what you guys have to say about the compressors in this unit.
If one had a choice, which would you choose. I like the TC products... but I also have my eyes set on the Yamaha processor too. I'm still somewhat hung on the "hardware" processors, though I do like software stuff as well. Any feedback would be appreciated.
