usb 2.0 sound vs. firewire

USB 2.0 Sound vs. . Firewire

What's the feeling on this forum? Is USB 2.0 going to prevail or will the firewire 1394 ADC / DAC's be more popular.

I'd like to upgrade from my Edirol UA-1A and am thinking of some of the new USB 2.0 hi-speed converters with good quality mic preamps.
