I have found this:
Will a condenser mic still pick up plosives if theres not pop filter but instead a windscreen?
Does it have to be of a good quality material to be effective at all? Do cheap pop filters work?
Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap but decent quality wind screens for Schoeps and similarly sized mics?
I'm doing several recordings of college marching bands in the coming season and the standard foams that come with Schoeps aren't great at blocking wind (not to mention, my cat somehow manages to steal mine and destroy them everytime she can!)
alright - here's the situation. doing some recordings in a live environment, and a couple of the mic's i'm using seem to be picking up a bit of the room "hiss" from the ventalition system, etc. since this is a public venue - i cannot turn off the ventalation system.
