Hi friends! Do you guys bounce your SD2/Wave 24 bit files at which setting: good / best / tweak head?

As faster dual processor computers have been on the market for a reasonable time and PT 6.x uses both processors, seems lots of people are preferring the tweak head setting.

I remember my old ( not so old era in fact) of a G3 233 beige. As I started to do a bounce I was 29.
When the damn process ended, I was 53!

lol

Nice weekend to all

Well obviosly tweak head sounds the best, In my opinion theres no reason not to tweak head unless your using lots of RTASplug-inswhich slow down the conversion after the bounce. If your running TDM the TDM plugs don't strain your CPU load so regardless of how many your running the conversion takes the same amount of time (usaully 10 seconds). I have maxed out my HD2 system withplug-insand track counts but the conversion at the end would take just as long as a song with noplug-ins

Have you compared Best and Tweak head? I have not detected lossed with the "best" setting. However, Pt bounce makes some funny things...
Even if you limit to let us say -0.1dB, and suppose you come from 48k/24 and bounce to 44k/24 and then to 44/16, when you open the 44k/24 bounced file, sometimes red lights pop up, so the bounce function is not 100% accurate in these situations.
Nowadays, I record 99% of time at 44k/24.
