Yeah, I ordered 3.0 too... (Hi, I'm new here - a recent refugee from the DUC) I couldn't not order it cuz it looks cool and it's a cheap upgrade and I've been using Performer since '89 (He said, dating himself...)

Although, I'm not really sure why I ordered it cuz I've been using PT Mix Plus since last year, and all attempts to run DP 2.7 & 2.72 software with my Digi hardware have failed miserably. Crash-O-Rama, and Freeze-O-Rama. I'm on a Beige G3 266. Any thoughts as to why...?

You an me both bro! I found out in the end that the hassles with DP were caused by the routing of sound manager to digidesign out.... If you turn this off and output the audio via the inbuilt sound out the problem will disappear..... Well it did in my case.
As for DP 3.0 haven't decided yet will wait and see what the bugs are with PT 5.1
