well i have a tascam 8 track recorder w/ the burner. i've read throught he manual to which it said to burn off samples as .wav files to which then could be uploaded through the data menu of the recorder. it every time states that it is an improper import cd, yet the disks are compatible. does it matter if it is a cd-rw or cd-r, which i've tried both and seem to have no luck.
Edit: Reading back, I noticed you are talking about importing from CDR. The manual doesn't say anything about importing from cd which leads me to believe that it can't be done. You may need to drop your files onto your comp hard drive first.. I'm guessing of course. The manual does mention some stipulations about extensions and something about keeping the 8.3 standard.
