I'm looking at both the Aphex 204 and the BBE 482i to add to my collection. Primary function would be on vocals, but I'd also look into using them in production too. What are the pros/cons of each? Any other ones in the same price range ($200) that are better?
Thanks

The BBE is not good on vocals. It works well in mixdown, but definitely not vocals. From my experience, the BBE would be your best bet for a mixdown link. However, the Aphex 204 would be better for vocals. It works well in a mixdown chain too, but not as well as the BBE.
