Hello!
I am looking for a tool (software for WinXP) which can test a newly burnt audio CD for errors, and which might give me a test report.
Is there anything you can recommend?
I am usually working with Cubase SX2 and Wavelab 4 on WinXP,
for burning I use Nero 5. That does not sound very pro, but I never had any complaints... but I'd feel better if I could technically test the CDs before they leave my studio!
regards,

Unless you're going to get a Clover unit (several thousand at the very lowest) you're almost stuck with the Plextor Plexwriter Premium or other capable drives. The only two of which that are currently in production are the PlexWriter Premium and the 716-A (DVD).
"Stuck with" isn't really the way to say it, as they're both excellent drives and desperately inexpensive for what they offer.

(no, but I could use it from my laptop too.)
thanks to all again, Plextor is the way to go!
