I tried one a few years back when they first came out and was not impressed with either the conversion or the pres. The unit in general seemed to lack depth and clarity. I went with the ISA428 instead. More money, but you get two more channels than the MPA and far better conversion if you have the digital expansion card. The analog outs on the ISA were also markedly better than the MPA's.

hey wat do u think about a focusrite voice master pro...? would it also be convinient 2 get a compressor on the side cuz i was lookin at the dbx 160a.... any feedback is greatly appreciated
