(That's 2 different references to Schroedinger's Cat in one week on this forum...I think the collective intellect, or perception thereof, is increasing on this site...)

Here's a fun one...how much would you pay for wood?

LOL- It’s crazy.....

I was is in Tokyo recently and was wandering about and went into a high end audio store. 5 floors of audiophile stuff.

They had everything from speakers to connectors. Power cables for amps cost 3k. The sales guy was trying to convince me he could hear the difference.

I love audio, but I think that’s insane.

Quick Q about power...

Should ALL your devices in the system should be grounded to the same point regardless of what they're plugged into (granted that all the power for any 1 building including a small church should come from one wire in the end)?

So if I have a mixer in one branch from the main box, and an amp in another branch, it's fine.
(I don't think there's a ground problem until I crank the pres, but I haven't pushed the system to stupidity and stuck my ear against the speakers.
