I've heard this particular sound in several songs over time, and i have evolved some ideas for it. But i havn't managed to mimic the sound in any of my plugs,
so i wonder now:
Does this sound have a name?
If not, which plug is it / How do i create it?

Stutter edit? Your particular example could probably be simulated using the LFO rate and resonance on a synth, but I think what you are after is more along these lines: short video
Lots of ways to do it. Be careful not to overuse it. :)
