I figured shelling out that much for an interface and a program, it would have some decent plugins!
I have a list of grievances building up with digidesign, a big one right now is: where the fuck is the metronome?!?!
I gave up Digidesign a long time ago. It was when I was using Sound Designer and they basically pulled the plug on futher upgrades. I called Digidesign and for some reason they put me in touch with their national sales manager who basically told me to upgrade to Protools. When I protested that I had just sunk a lot of money into my current equipment he told me to ""get with the program" and "quit whinning" He then proceeded to tell me about the studios in LA that were making $3500 per week on their Protools rigs and that if I did not upgrade I would be "left standing in the dust" I asked him if there was an upgrade path he just started laughing. That phone call told me that Digidesign is NOT a great company. I still feel that way today.
