Hey all, I'm new here. can anyone suggest a fix to this problem? When I plugin my delta 1010 all I get is feedback and the power light doesn't come on. This has happened several times in the past but disconnecting the cable and trying again would work. Now all I get is feedback on all the input channels. I was thinking maybe I have a bad cable, hopefully its not f**ked. The sound card is still working great, this happens when I connect the brek out box.

Try a standard printer cable that you know works - I'm pretty sure that's all that connects the breakout to the PCI.
My breakout died on me once - no power light, no response, nothing. I sent it back through the store I bought it from and within a few weeks they sent me a whole new system. Slow, but good service.
You might wanna try different drivers as a last shot, but i doubt that's the problem.

Also, MAudio recommend that you only connect the breakout box when it's power and the computer are off.
Maybe you could post some more details about what you have connected to the breakout box...
