Hello all...I'm new to these parts and i have a question. I am currently using Magix software to record my music and was wondering what (if any) mixers there are out there that are compatible with this program. If anyone on here uses Magix and can tell me that would be great. Oh. also i am new to the world of midi and need to know how to use the midi in the program. thanks and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

You'll need a midi interface, your current soundcard might have it. You might want to contact them to see if a particular controller can be used. All analog mixers are compatable. You'll have to take some time to learn about midi, and if need, ask certain specific questions. Read manual, and/or help files to learn more about your software funtions.

External remote control possibilities have been broadened substantially through hardware controllers in Samplitude/Sequoia 7.

You can now control the mixer remotely with the Mackie Control.

Latency is reduced to miniscule levels as Samplitude reacts to external control signals like a hardware mixer. All the important mixer controls (Aux-Sends, Pan, EQ Gain, volumes): the internal effects values and peak meter values are transmitted back to the MC and then displayed.

Remote controllable functions:

- Transport controls (play, including record)
- Mackie Control shuttle wheel positioning
- Marker startup and settings (plus enhanced Marker mode)
- Arranger zooming
- Track selection

A remote control template for the Tascam USB 428 controller is also included.

The Mackie Controller setup can also be used for the Raditec SAC 2.2 controller. It can also be adapted for Emagic’s Logic Control.

The Samplitude/Sequoia remote control function can also be programmed for other hardware controllers. A learning tool is available to help adapt remote control to individual external MIDI controllers.
