I could name a few boxes that do the same things as the Finalizer but I don't think it's the problem. How much level are you trying to add? Most of the time you can add a couple db of level without noticeable distortion. This depends on how loud your mix is to start with. I need to know more of what you are doing exactly with the Finalizer to help.

I record the song on a DAT and while doing that I'm Compressing (not too much) with the TLA C1 Comp.
Input Level is between -9 / -6.
Sometimes I can hear the Distortion on the same Freq. with the Guitars.The Guys from Tc were here but they couldn't give an answer.One of the Guys couldn't even hear the Problem!

Oh!Iforgot to tell that the Finalizer is not even in the "Red Area" when this happens and I'm sure that the File is free of such kind of distortion.I'ts Low but I can hear it.

I'm suprised the TC guys couldn't find anything. That leads me to think it's something else. OK are you going into the TC anolog or digital? Are you listening to the anolog outputs of the Finalizer. If you bypass the compressor does it make a difference?

This happens in both ways.Dig or analog is the same.When I press the bypass button the file is clean.Like I said this doesn't happen everytime.The Guys from Tc meant that it could be that when I got4 Guitars (2 Left-2Right) that might be something with the phase or something.Ok but why on the Bassguitar?May be Iwant too much from this box(?)
