Out of all of what's on the market (native audio), I personally think that the MOTU products are very close in spec's to that of Avid's Digidesign Pro-tools hardware. I wish their products did'nt cost so much, but then again, you get what you pay for. So in essence, we're paying for the converters and everthing else is just thrown in. The others on the market are for us budget minded folk. Are there any other companies that might fall in the top 2, 3, or 4 in the industry? Any opinions?
To my ears, digidesign converters are considerably worse than AP
To my ears, digidesign converters are considerably worse than APOGEE for example... I haven't worked with MOTU yet, but am very interested in checking it out... RME also makes some great converters,... ADI96 PRO seems to kick ass :)
