Hi all,

I've never visited this section of recording.org before, was wondering, can anyone recommend a good book or site (apart from this one) that explains about the business side of the music industry, topics such as publishing, sync licences, royalties, etc.
Something that explains how the song goes from the studio to a store shelf, and who is inloved in that process and what role they play.
I feel I know a little but would like to learn more.

Thanks a lot,

Sammyg

Yes Sammy! I have several real great recommendations for books to pick up. First one is by Brabec and Brabec (Music, Money & Success). Another book you should pick up is by Baskerville (The Music Business and Career Guide). Both will help answer many of the questions you have. Remember... Knowledge is power!

Good luck!
