Hi. Always i has recorded on desktop PC... now I'm trying to record on my laptop HP DV6000 and the recording is unsincronized... each track is delayed (late). How may i configure mi laptop to make sinchronized recordings?
I'm using Cool Edit Pro, and Record Producer from Voyetra.
The souncard is a Lexicom Lambda.

recording on a laptop is going to be your biggest issue with lat
recording on a laptop is going to be your biggest issue with latency due to the limitations on ram you can get for you computer. And, running windows requires 40% more system resources than any other operating system.
BUT
you can look into some better ram for you laptop and maybe get a low latency interface, and perhaps run a low latency recording program (I.e sony acid, protools, ableton, etc)

Latency is what I assume you are talking about, it has to do with the time it takes to move information into your computer and through the processors and onto the HDD.
Buffer sizes and whatnot.
