I'm not sure man, I know that SX is going to be upgraded soon but I don't know anything of what's to come of it.

Personally I would stick with SX and see what happens on the upgrade path for that...

I don't know the main differential seperations of SX compared to Nuendo 2.0...all I know is I use it and I love it!

There is talk of a major upgrade in the "near future" that is going to add full delay compensation and other features and fixes, but I guess I am wondering if I should just "bite the bullet" and go for the recognized "pro software" from Steinberg...

lol, DH, ya know you want it. So take the plunge, if you have the funds. You have obyiously given it some thought. Yeah, the SX upgrade is prolly gonna be great, but....ya know you want N2, :D

Oh, I just want to add....There are folks all around that would say "If what ya got works and ya don't need it, why buy it?". Well, I would say that sometimes it not about what you need. Sometimes, it's about what you want. :D

I wouldn't recommend it at this time. NU2 is still too new and has bugs that need to be worked out. Unless you're into post production, surround, and video SX will be every bit as good for what you need to do. Delay compensation and all the other basic recording goodies will be ported to SX in due time. I would save your money for the gear that will really make a difference in your recordings. Check out the differences in the programs and you will most likely find that Nu2 is more than you really need. If you need delay compensation and a stable program immediately you might also want to check out Samplitude 7.
