Hi Guys,
Does the O2R96 have a key input for the compressor ? my old O2R had one and I can't seem to find it on the O2R96 (about to buy one tomorrow).
I know it has one for gates.
cheers

It is for a purpose and although I can do that in the Mac(2.5dual 2.5G RAM HD3accell) I need it on the desk too.
I have written to terry@yamaha.co.uk (head of R&D) and if you have a similar interest you can drop him an email. If enough people get in touch with Yamaha then they would sit a programmer down for a couple of days and solve this fairly quickly.

You'll have to get really creative to construct one. Something along the lines of calling up your sidechain signal (an input or a bus) on a neighbouring channel, route that channel nowhere and stereolink the compressors on the two channels while making sure the sidechain signal is much hotter than signal you want to compress, so that only the sidechain will activate the compressor....
...silly.
