Looking to increase my inputs to accomADATe more live recordings. Currently have a Focusrite ISA428 into a Motu2408MKIII and we're looking at adding the Onyx 8 channel pre. Wondering if anyone here has experiece with it and how it might mate with the ISA.
Will most likely be used heavily to mic drumkits and some other instruments.

I'm using the 800R for drums with my 002. I think it sounds great. Very open. Find myself not using very many plugs cause it already sounds great. Only used it on one session so far but it worked flawlessly for 5 hours straight.
