I'm using the Digi001 with Pro Tools 6.1.1. When "bouncing down," why does Pro Tools proceed to play the entire session as it's mixing everything down? Is there a way around this? Sometimes I have to work on something that's 50 or 60 minutes long, and the last thing anyone would want in this day and age of fast computers is to have to sit there for an hour as it bounces everything down. And God help you if you get an error 45 minutes into it.
If there is a way around this, someone please let me know! Thanks!

little help to ya
why are you getting errosr at the end of your bounces?
check:
a) HD fragmentation > Norton or similar utilities will help ya;
b) go to PREFERENCES and reduce the maximum rec size to the maximum bounce you will be doing. for example, a 5 minute song, no need to use and make PT record over a "virtual heel" of 90 minutes;
c) check your DAE buffer size;
d)disable any plugs that are not being used;
I don't know the answer too your problem, BUT if you go to the d
