I used to play bass guitar in band, and during one of our road trips the lead guitarist brought along a cassette tape (if you remember what one of those is), of Rodney Dangerfield's stand-up. During one part of the bit he introduced his band, and the bass player was named Styles Bitchly. After that it just stuck, and the other guys called me Styles. I've actually run across a few people who have adopted the name as well, so I guess we'll just have to all get together and have a big A$$ gang fight! ;)

I've not been able to use "musicalhair" on all the forums because there is another out there. I had trouble finding a "cool" name that wasn't already taken until I stumbled into the least logical sounding thing I could that still had something to do with music (thus musicalhair). The fact that there is another musicalhair out there only makes me question his (or her) sanity as much as I question my own.

That's cool Styles! Someone called me that once before, and although I didn't adopt it, I always thought it was a cool name. I'm glad to know it's origin!
