i have not experiance with Sebatron mic preamps but they have been getting some good play. so here is the question; should i build "wall" (4) bricks or one Sebatron 4000e for my personal studio?
right now ive got a Mackie 1604vlz-pro a "brick" a Tascam M35 and a peavey valvex6line mixer.
i need some more colorfull pres then the vlz which takes up most of the work load, i was also looking at the seven circle clones.
If I had to choose one or the other I'd choose Sebatron. I know
If I had to choose one or the other I'd choose Sebatron. I know they rock 'cause I own one. But for my apps I only need two channels at once, so I'd pick up a Seb vmp 2000e, save a little more, then pick up another color like two channels of Hardy, Speck, etc.
