I'll be attempting to syc these two machines together for a project. Tascam support has assured me that it will work. Anyone have any experience trying this?
Well, I've always had Adats, but I loved the sound I got from My TSR 8 20 years ago. What I'm trying is doing sort of hybrid half analog half digital rig. I'm not sure how feasable it is. But if doesn't have good results,I'll sell the TSR8 and get more da78's or a 98. I know it seems a little wierd, but I'm hoping the combo produces some positive result. I just haven't had much syncing experience. I've always chained digital multi tracks, never any syncing.
