The strips are longer than 19" so you'd have to mutilate them to put them in a standard rack. I'd knock together a wood enclosure and buy a PowerOne +18V/-18V PSU. Finding the mating connector to the module would make the wiring much easier. The LEDs need +5V if you want 'em, and don't forget an outboard phantom supply, there's no switch on the module. If you want the schematics or pin outs I can post a link for you.
The price sounds right, last pair of Trimix modules I saw went for $355 at ebay. HTH

Hello.
I was thinking about doing the same thing but when I asked around here (orlando, FL) the electrical techs freaked! Noone seemed to know how to connect those bad boys. i am sure there is someone out there that can at a reasonable price. Who is David Marquette and how do I get in touch with him? Sorry for my ignorance in advance :)
Thanks,
Michael

but they're Trimix strips. You have to do some mods to get them to work in your 70. Changing the bus switches from 8 individual to 8 pairs mainly, and adding a ribbon connector for the additional buses. HTH

$400 seems like a good deal for a pair of strips. What would it cost to have your tech build a lunchbox and power supply? I've never used or seen a Series 70 in person but I've heard it's like a baby 80B so I can't imagine them being terrible. The Series 65 and 24 aren't worth racking.
