I have an Axiom 49 from M-Audio. Very nice product.
I was wondering if I could use a pair of drumsticks to hit the pads. I don't think really hit them hard...just enough to produce the sound i need. Will this make the pad ware out? or even make the pad malfunction? Any experiences? Any advices for the type of drumsticks to use?

Hi, that's a keyboard. You _can_ hit it with drumsticks but it's designed for fingers. If you were going to hit it with something I would suggest some felt mallets. This would reduce the shock. You can get mallets from any good music store, go try some out with your keyboard. If it sounds cool, do it. :P
