yo, i have the tonelab valvetronix SE (stage edition) the floor pedal. i've never tried using it for anything else,,, but it is fully capable of being used however you want,, the 1st rule of recording is "there are none" i keep saying that on this board, but it's true, maybe use your tonelab for some extra warmth on something and let that be your studio "secret weapon" (that you don't tell anyone about or they might start barking :wink: ) i think any idea (that's not obviously pointless) is worth a try, in fact, as soon as my band does a song that would fit this, i'll try singing through my tonelab and just totally beef/distort my voice out in that thing!
